request play therapy

Winter 2026 :: I currently have space for developmental assessments and parent support. New openings for play therapy expected in April.

Once a month, I hold space for neurodiversity-affirming autism assessments. In collaboration with a psychologist colleague, you’ll get the specialized attention of two clinicians in exploring developmental questions across the areas of communication, social-emotional patterns, regulation and/or repetitive behaviors.

Please fill out the form below, and I’ll be in touch with a link to my calendar for an initial phone call—to see how my approach fits with what you’re looking for. If a longer conversation makes sense, we’ll plan a date for the initial parent intake.

In addition to play therapy (typically 15-20 sessions, with parent support), I have openings for behavioral and developmental assessments, with kids ages 3-10, including parent support and neurodiversity-affirming recommendations for home & school.

Play-based assessments are offered for families seeking clarity about best-fit supports—including which interventions are likely to be most effective. We’ll take a whole-family approach to understanding your child’s needs and strengths, practical parenting tools and community-based supports to meet their developmental needs, and collaborate on a tailored plan for next steps, highlighting specific resources that may be a good fit.

We’ll review recommendations together, do some focused parent coaching, identify where educational advocacy or specialized referrals may be useful, and help you start implementing recommendations right away. This may or may not include play therapy with me; if I’m not the right provider for your next steps, I’ll do my best to connect you with the folks who are.

Parent support and small group workshops are offered at Family Zest Parent Coaching for families outside my therapy practice.

Please let me know below what type of support you’re looking for.
