Parenting Adopted Teens

The teenage years bring so many changes for kids’ bodies, brains, and relationships. Maintaining influence and connection with your teen is an important part of family survival—and even thriving—during this time of growth and growing pains.

This is a time for exploring identity and trying to fit together past experience with new expectations--a huge task for kids! This group is intended to support, inform, and listen to you in the journey of Parenting Adopted Teens.

FAQs

What's the refund policy? 14 days prior, less $50 processing fee. Less than 14 days before series starts, CREDIT ONLY for a future class/workshop with same instructor.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable? Tickets are $160 per person. Do you know someone who would like to attend in your place? Please have them contact me to see if the group is a fit. I'm happy to transfer tuition to another family who would get a lot out of it!

Do I have to attend the whole series? This group is designed to build each week's topic on the previous one. Please plan to attend all 4 sessions in order to get the most out of the group, in terms of info, support, and sharing your perspective with other group members. We're making a commitment to be together for the series. In addition to expanding your parenting skills, increasing connection, and finding your voice, the group can be especially powerful in building new coping strategies, reality-checking worries, and keeping family transitions in perspective.
